Attaleia; the ancient name of Antalya, is derived from that of the Pergamum king Attalos II. Attulus II founded the city on the Pamphylian seacoast around 150 B.C.. The settlement of Antalya and it's environs stretch back to the dawn of humanity and today it is part of Turkey's "Golden Coast", an exquisite land of sun, sea, history and fun. If you use your imagination you may still be able to see her dancing for her king in the "Fantasy Bazaar". Acrylic on paper, 14"x18"
